Xiaomi TV Loses First in Pain? Defeated by another domestic television by a hair's breadth

As is well known, since 2019, Xiaomi TV has maintained the record of being the top seller in China, and occasionally breaks records. In the first half of 2023, Xiaomi TV's sales also ranked first in China.
Why is Xiaomi selling so high? On the one hand, of course, Xiaomi has a large number of fans, after all, Xiaomi's fame gained through mobile phones, and when it entered television, it had already had many fans.
The second reason is that Xiaomi TV has a high cost-effectiveness. When Xiaomi first launched, with the same configuration, Xiaomi sold cheaper than other brands, and at the same price, Xiaomi had higher configurations than other brands.
In addition, Xiaomi has many fans, and the TV is of good quality. Of course, it is hot.
Under the leadership of Xiaomi, numerous internet companies have also entered the television industry, such as Huawei, OPPO, Honor, and so on.
Not only that, but other traditional TV brands have also launched high-performance internet TVs like Xiaomi, following Xiaomi's example.
So we have seen that in recent years, China's television industry has been flourishing and its competitiveness has become stronger, causing Japanese and Korean companies that were once dominant to retreat, and companies like Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, Sony, etc. have all lost their dominance.
To put it bluntly, the development of Chinese television in recent years has largely been a new wave of television development brought about by internet companies such as Xiaomi after they entered the television industry.
As the leader, Xiaomi has been able to become the number one in China for four and a half consecutive years, which is not so surprising.
However, in August of this year, domestic sales were released, and we found that Xiaomi TV was defeated by another domestic TV by a margin of one millimeter this time.
According to the latest data from RUNTO, Hisense, including its subsidiary brand Vidda, shipped slightly over 600000 units in August, winning the sales championship next month. Xiaomi (including red rice) shipped approximately 600000 units in August, falling second.
The third is that TCL (including its sub brand Thunderbird) has a shipment volume of approximately 580000 units, followed by Skyworth (including its sub brand Kukai) with a shipment volume of approximately 570000 units that month, ranking fourth.
From these data, it can be seen that there is not much difference among everyone, and they are in a state of adhesion, which is enough to indicate that the top few TV brands are actually at the same level.
However, this is only an August data, and there is currently no clue. Whether Xiaomi can continue to maintain the top spot depends on the situation in the second half of the year.
