Yuanhang Automobile is a high-end new energy vehicle brand launched by Dayun Group at the 2022 Chengdu Auto Show. As a newcomer to the automotive industry, Yuanhang Motors unveiled four models, Y6, Y7, H8, and H9, at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show. This time, we are actually seeing a model of the H8, and it is reported that engineering prototypes will be launched at this year's Shanghai Auto Show. The H8 is a large luxury electric SUV with a large size that clearly draws on the design of the Porsche Cayenne, but its size is much larger and more imposing than the Cayenne.

The 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel adopts a black and blue dual color display, mainly consisting of numbers and graphics. The size of the central vertical central control screen is 17.38 inches, but the wider border feels somewhat outdated. The car is equipped with an AliOS intelligent cockpit system, paired with Qualcomm Snapdragon's third-generation car standard chips. The software and hardware are both good, depending on the manufacturer's debugging work. This model car machine is basically unable to operate, so we haven't had a deep experience either.

The armrest is mainly used for storage, but the tilted central control screen occupies the front end and does not provide a convenient phone position. It can be further optimized with an open double cup holder and a row of physical buttons. The floating space below has a large volume and is equipped with USB, Type-C, and 12V power interfaces.

The front seats are made of beige leather and blue base, with thick and full padding for the seat cushion and backrest. The side and tail windows also have good lighting, making it a relatively comfortable three row space.

Due to the ample length and width of the body, the trunk has a certain volume when used in the third row, which is larger than most 6/7 seater SUVs. The third row seats support a 50:50 ratio for tilting, with good flatness and flexible switching between 4/5/6 seats.

In terms of power, it adopts dual motor four-wheel drive, and both motors are electrically controlled by silicon carbide, with a power of 500kW (680Ps) and a maximum torque of 745Nm. The acceleration from 0-100km/h only takes 3.5 seconds. In terms of battery life, there are two versions available: 800km and 1000km, and it also supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, which can supplement 300km of battery life in 10 minutes.

The chassis is likely to adopt a suspension combination of front double wishbone independent and rear H-arm independent, using all aluminum alloy material to reduce the unsprung mass. Air spring and CDC shock absorber should also be standard configuration to provide better adaptability.
