Through Ruijin Hospital's booth, a series of new scenes of "digital intelligent medicine" were launched, slowly spreading a picture of the "future hospital".

Among them, Ruijin Hospital and SenseTime cooperated to build a multi hospital smart image cloud platform. Based on the big model enabling, on the basis of the interconnection of multi hospital medical images, it has realized the radiation and pathological AI auxiliary diagnosis and treatment covering multiple parts and multiple diseases, helped the cross hospital diagnosis treatment recovery process, and improved the clinical diagnosis and treatment efficiency.

Image interoperability and interconnection, promoting the sinking of high-quality medical resources

Not long ago, the General Office of the Chinese Communist Party and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Improving the Medical and Health Service System, which required to promote the expansion of high-quality medical resources and regional balanced layout, and build a high-quality and efficient medical and health service system with Chinese characteristics.

In order to further promote the sinking of high-quality medical resources, Ruijin Hospital has created a multi hospital intelligent imaging cloud platform, covering various functions such as image data interconnection, mobile film reading, 5G+remote consultation, and patient cloud imaging health records.

For doctors, sitting at home allows them to complete remote real-time video consultations and share videos online, breaking through the limitations of time and space in traditional diagnosis and treatment models, significantly improving the convenience of diagnosis and treatment, and being able to respond more timely to the imaging consultation needs of patients in grassroots hospitals.

For the patient side, the personal cloud imaging health record function allows them to view complete and clear imaging reports and historical imaging report information on the mobile end as soon as possible after completing imaging examinations. It also supports sharing and initiating online consultation on the internet, improving the patient's medical experience. This platform achieves image interconnection and sharing, centralized data management, and unified scheduling of medical resources, effectively integrating medical resources.

AI intelligent assistance, fully empowering clinical diagnosis and treatment

On the "base" of medical image connectivity Inter-working function, Ruijin Hospital has deployed AI auxiliary diagnosis and treatment applications developed by SenseTime that cover multiple parts and multiple organs of the body, further consolidating the functions of smart image cloud platform in multiple hospitals.

These AI assisted diagnosis and treatment applications encompass more than ten clinical directions, including lungs, coronary arteries, head and neck vessels, liver, orthopedics, pathology, etc. With the empowerment of multimodal medical basic models, they can provide intelligent services that meet the entire process of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery for different clinical departments, effectively improving doctors' diagnosis and treatment efficiency and accuracy.

In addition to radiological imaging, the Pathology Department of Ruijin Hospital has also achieved a comprehensive digital and intelligent transformation. Not long ago, the first white paper on the construction of a digital and intelligent pathology department in China, edited by the pathology department of Ruijin Hospital, was released, providing valuable reference experience for the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of the hospital's pathology department, and these experiences have also been "moved" to the exhibition site.

The intelligent pathological auxiliary diagnosis system displayed by Ruijin Hospital can automatically perform AI analysis on digital pathological slices based on high-resolution full-size digital pathological slice images, quickly locate suspicious lesion areas, and detect abnormal cells. It is reported that currently, relevant algorithms have covered a series of scenarios such as gastrointestinal biopsy pathology, TCT cervical cytology screening, and breast immunohistochemistry quantitative analysis, effectively alleviating the problem of pathological doctors' workload overload and significantly improving the efficiency of film reading.

In the process of building a national medical center and integrating the development of the Yangtze River Delta, Ruijin Hospital leverages new technologies such as 5G and AI to build an efficient and high-quality smart medical scene, effectively solving the limitations of traditional hospitals in terms of time, region, resources, and costs, allowing patients to bid farewell to the hardships and receive high-quality medical services at their doorstep.
