Since the first pile foundation was drilled, during the pile driving process, there have been problems with fine sand layers and high water levels, which have made it difficult for conventional static pressure techniques to press into the design elevation. In order to solve the problem of insufficient penetration, the airport company invited local geotechnical and design institute experts for demonstration. They successively adopted hammering, hammering after drilling, static pressure after drilling, expanding, and static pressure after multiple drilling. Finally, they explored a successful process of high water level thick sand layer drilling+static pressure. Subsequently, the command center and all engineering personnel actively acted, carefully deployed, and reasonably organized to optimize the piling route and avoid soil compaction effects. The construction unit, China Construction Eighth Bureau, quickly organized three shifts for 24-hour construction, increased mechanical equipment, and invested two drilling machines and two static pressure pile machines to catch up with the construction period. The number of piles that could be completed per day increased from more than ten to more than 50, achieving a leap in quantity.
