Hualong Network - New Chongqing Client News (Reporter Qin Sisi) Recently, the 2023 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Competition - Algorithm Challenge announced the results of the competition. The team composed of Chen Haoru, Mou Yiheng and Zhong Shi, 2022 master students from the Key Laboratory of Data Engineering and Visual Computing, School of Computer Science, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, won the first prize (runner up) in the final race of "Imaging NLP - Medical imaging Diagnosis Report Generation".
The data of the race track "Imaging NLP - Medical imaging Diagnosis Report Generation" comes from the desensitization medical image report text provided by the hospital, including 100000 labeled samples. Conditional text generation is a core basic task in Natural language processing applications. The competition requires contestants to adapt the AI model to a new language system by establishing an AI model. After getting the text of the doctor's oral CT image, the contestants can automatically extract and generate a Medical imaging diagnosis report in an accurate, professional and short way.

The graduate team of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications innovatively put forward the GBPQ text search strategy (GraphBeamSearch with PriorityQueue), R-DropoutinExposureBias and SFLP model integration strategy, which stood out from 1102 teams from all over the world in the online evaluation of the semi-final, and achieved the third place in the ranking. In the final defense, it was also highly recognized by the participating experts, and won the second place in the final. Professor Dai Qionghai, academician of the CAE Member and chairman of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence, presented the team with the first prize certificate of the final.
This competition is jointly sponsored by the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence and the People's Government of Yuhang District of Hangzhou City. It will be launched in March 2023 and will be divided into three stages: the preliminary, the semi-final and the final. Two tracks will be set up to open to the world. Students from colleges and universities, as well as scientific research institutions and enterprise practitioners can participate in the competition. The competition attracted 3200 participants from 30 international universities, over 300 domestic universities, and related enterprises, with 2400 teams participating.
