Japan does not allow Chinese aerospace experts to enter, but Tsinghua University allows Japan to enter the Heavenly Palace. What is this operation?

Since September last year, Japan has banned experts and scholars in China's aerospace field from traveling to Japan for exchanges, and has even dubbed it "for the sake of national security". However, in May of this year, Tsinghua University, one of China's top universities, took the initiative to request Japanese experts to go to the "Tiangong" space station for strategic cooperation.
When the news came out, many netizens roast that Tsinghua was "too generous". However, Tsinghua's response to this is quite atmospheric: "Technology knows no borders, cooperation can achieve win-win results." So, is this cooperation based on technological considerations? Is there a deep-seated political intention?

The United States and Japan Join Forces to Suppress China's Aerospace Development
Since China's aerospace industry embarked on a rapid development path, the old "aerospace power" represented by the United States has been unable to sit still. They not only pursued and blocked China in terms of technology, but also vigorously promoted the development of China's aerospace industry in the international community, setting obstacles.
The director of NASA once publicly stated that "China's space work has always been carried out in secret. They not only do not report on the development process to the international community, but also do not even share the space data they receive. China's approach is clearly not conducive to the development of the global space industry

Not only that, he shamelessly proposed a solution to this matter; We should require the Chinese aerospace department to accept supervision from international organizations and conduct a detailed review of the data they obtain. Of course, we in the United States can serve as the authoritative department for this supervision
As soon as this news was released, it was immediately mocked and criticized by many countries in the international community. After all, China has always relied on its own strength to develop Space technology, and the United States even blocked technology at this stage, refusing to provide any help and cooperation.

Now that China's aerospace industry has finally made progress, they are eager to obtain data. This clearly means forcing China to share scientific research achievements through public opinion. Therefore, almost no country in the international community agrees with the suggestion of the United States.
However, as the strongest "running dog" of the United States in the Asia Pacific region, Japan naturally follows the orders of the United States. Therefore, Japan quickly stepped out of the united front with the United States, not only publicly expressing its attitude, but also strictly prohibiting exports to China in terms of technology and equipment.

Not only that, the United States and Japan also took the lead in signing the Wolf Amendment, intending to use international legal means to stop other countries' space agencies from cooperating with China. Under such tight encirclement and interception, China's space industry development can only rely on its own strength.
However, it is precisely due to the ulterior motives of the United States and Japan that Chinese astronauts have accelerated their pace of independent research and development. Especially in recent years, China has developed and launched the Long March 2F rocket, known as the "divine arrow", with a success rate of 100%.

Not only that, China has also independently developed the high-thrust rocket "Fat Five", which can help us continue the construction of space stations in the future. Even Tianwen-1 was successfully launched under its impetus. On the other hand, Japan, which has always been hostile to China's aerospace industry, has suffered numerous setbacks and achieved nothing in recent years.
Repeated failures affecting Japan's aerospace development
In March this year, Japan's new generation H3 carrier rocket was launched from the Tanegashima Space Base. However, after 8 minutes, the second engine malfunctioned during the ignition process. Just 15 minutes later, the Japanese Space Agency announced the failure of the launch mission and issued a self destruct command.

In fact, the rocket had already experienced a delayed launch in February of this year, and the reason given at the time was "equipment malfunction". Although after this, the relevant departments have announced that the fault has been resolved. However, from the later performance of H3, it is evident that there are also many technical issues that are difficult to handle.
Since 2014, the Japanese Space Agency has been collaborating with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, spending 200 billion yen to finally build the H3 carrier rocket. According to the original plan, the rocket could not only be used to launch satellites and detectors, but also carry the latest air cargo transport vehicles.

Moreover, even NASA had high hopes for H3. Prepare to use it to transport materials and supplies to the space station. However, after a series of accidents, the United States also temporarily suspended cooperation plans with the H3 carrier rocket.
After all, H3 has become Japan's main rocket in recent years, and it is also about to undertake many important transportation tasks. However, in this accident, H3 showed many drawbacks and could not be fully trusted. Even the person in charge of the project, Kuroshi Okada, bluntly stated that this was a "complete failure".

Coincidentally, the small rocket "Epsilon" launched by Japan last year also encountered the same problem. During the ascent, the arrow body experienced a serious malfunction and had to choose to self destruct.
This series of accidents has also made the Japanese people anxious about the development of the aerospace industry. After all, they have been ambitious in their "space planning" since decades ago. Not only did he follow the United States to become a member of the International Space Station, but even in 2014, Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata became the first Japanese commander of the space station in history.

Japan has not only failed to reflect on its own problems regarding the current bottleneck, but has even been "throwing the blame" internationally. They believe that all attempts by China to seek cooperation are aimed at "stealing information" and even refuse to cooperate with us in this field.
However, in recent years, China has developed rapidly in the aerospace industry and has not taken Japan's "stinginess" seriously. Moreover, after multiple failed launches of Japanese rockets, they still threw an olive branch at Japan technically. I hope to strengthen cooperation and even invite them to visit China's space station "Tiangong".

Repay good for evil and strengthen cooperation
Since July, Tsinghua University has launched an international aerospace project. This time, their research directions include space life sciences and rocket engine technology. Considering the need for international collaboration, Tsinghua University has invited a total of 17 countries to participate, and Japan is also among them.
Although Japan has explicitly prohibited Chinese aerospace experts and students from visiting Japan for exchanges since the beginning of the year. But this time they still participated in the space program at Tsinghua University. Faced with such a "superficial inconsistency" approach, many countries in the international community also sneer at Japan. After all, they pursued and blocked Chinese scientists from a political perspective, but once given the opportunity, Japan shamelessly joined Chinese led research projects.

And Japan also has no time to consider face, after all, their space launch journey has been exceptionally bumpy and prone to mistakes since last year. Now, they have lost their mature rocket launch opportunities, and their experimental needs in space can only be achieved through the efforts of other countries.
However, the United States is currently struggling with internal and external concerns, so Japan can only choose to come to China to "embrace their thighs" in order to meet their scientific research needs. This time, they hope to use the "Heavenly Palace" for collaborative experiments and deepen their space cooperation with China.

Technology knows no borders, and cooperation is the only way to achieve win-win results
Speaking of that, the safety of China's space program is very high this time, and the cooperation experiment for "Tiangong" has already been approved by the state as early as 2018, and even the Ministry of National Defense has been included in the cooperation list for this experiment. Therefore, the project will be carried out in full view of the public. Even if Japan has the intention to steal data, it may not be possible. Therefore, there is no need for the outside world to read too much.

Conclusion:
After all, China and Japan are both major technological powers in Asia. Although there have been some unfriendly histories in history, the narrow strip of water relationship between the two countries cannot be ignored. At present, international competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Only by abandoning past grievances and deepening cooperation can we seek opportunities in future development and maximize the progress of our country.
