The research project "The Temperature of Civilization - Assessment of the Systematic Impact of Climate Change on the Ecology, Industry and Cultural Heritage in Northwestern China", which was co sponsored by experts from the Publicity and Education Center of the Ministry of Ecological Environment, Dunhuang Research Academy, the Popular Science Studio of Meteorological Science, and Beijing Huafeng Innovation Network Technology Co., Ltd., held an expert seminar in Beijing.

Northwestern China is one of the regions with the most significant trend of climate change. The relatively fragile ecological environment, local characteristic industries and unique Material culture heritage are subject to the complex impact of climate change, and the response to climate change is imminent.

The expert seminar activities aim to disseminate scientific knowledge on climate change to the public through live streaming, as well as promote interdisciplinary academic exchanges among professionals in related fields, in order to establish a broader public and scientific foundation for the "3060" dual carbon target.
