The 6th China Computer Education Conference (CECC): 360 Digital Security Group Explores a New Model for Cultivating Practical Cybersecurity Talents
The 6th China Computer Education Conference (CECC) was recently held successfully in Xiamen. Jointly organized by the Teaching Guidance Committee for Computer Science and Technology Majors of the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Guidance Committee for Software Engineering Majors of the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Guidance Committee for Cyberspace Security Majors of the Ministry of Education, and the Teaching Guidance Committee for University Computer Courses of the Ministry of Education, the conference highlighted a sub-forum focusing on the cultivation of practical cybersecurity talents. Numerous experts, scholars, and corporate representatives gathered to delve into the cultivation of practical cybersecurity talents in the new era. Bo Sinan, Vice President of 360 Digital Security Group, was invited to deliver a keynote speech, sharing 360's experience and insights in cultivating practical talents and offering valuable practical cases to address the current imbalance between supply and demand in the cybersecurity talent market.
Cybersecurity has become a crucial cornerstone of national security and a key guarantee for the stable development of digital transformation and intelligent upgrades. However, with rapid technological advancements and increasingly sophisticated attack methods, cybersecurity faces increasingly severe challenges, leading to an explosive demand for practical cybersecurity professionals. Existing talent cultivation mechanisms, models, and systems are inadequate, resulting in a significant disconnect between the cultivation of high-quality practical talents and market demand. Difficulties in talent cultivation, imperfect mechanisms, and irrational hierarchical structures all serve as key bottlenecks.
In his speech, Bo Sinan pointed out that 360 Digital Security Group, the only domestic company with both digital security and AI capabilities, has been deeply engaged in frontline cybersecurity practice for many years, accumulating extensive practical experience and industrial resources. To effectively alleviate the supply-demand contradiction of practical cybersecurity talents, 360 proposed five core elements: "clarifying training objectives, constructing practical courses, strengthening practical training, enhancing industry-education integration, and improving talent cultivation channels." The aim is to cultivate high-quality practical talents who master advanced and cutting-edge technologies and possess strong offensive and defensive capabilities, thereby reconstructing the overall model of cybersecurity talent cultivation.
Based on these five elements, 360 Digital Security Group has built a new path for cultivating practical talents, integrating platforms, courses, experts, communities, and industry connections. The core of this path is 360's self-developed SaaS-based security + AI education cloud platform ISC Academy. Leveraging 360 Group's top-tier technological capabilities and abundant ecological resources in digital security and AI, ISC Academy provides strong support for the sustainable and healthy development of education, technology, and talent cultivation. ISC Academy's services encompass course resources, teacher training, internships, and industry chain connections, providing learners with comprehensive and multi-layered learning and development opportunities.
In terms of curriculum design, ISC Academy focuses on the two major fields of digital security and AI, meticulously developing over 4,000 hours of professional courses. These courses cover security hotspots, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative applications, and incorporate 360 Group's practical experience from national-level security projects, forming a series of unique and high-quality courses. In the AI field, ISC Academy offers a curriculum system covering application popularization, professional technology, and specialized disciplines, tailored to different learner needs, providing a development path from AI awareness to AI proficiency and finally to AI practice.
To ensure teaching quality and learning outcomes, 360 Group has assembled a strong teaching team of over 4,000 internal and external practical experts to provide comprehensive learning support and guidance. Furthermore, ISC Academy has established a secure online community for learners to facilitate technical exchanges, resource sharing, and collaborative research projects, organically combining careful talent cultivation with multi-party talent gathering to form a virtuous cycle of talent development.
360 emphasizes that the cultivation of practical talents is not a simple point-like process, but a systematic project. The ISC Academy's training model covers several stages: practical course learning, practical scenario competitions, internships, and practical project exercises. Additionally, ISC Academy provides an innovation and entrepreneurship platform to cultivate learners' innovation and practical abilities, ultimately achieving comprehensive improvement in their overall quality and practical skills.
Of course, the construction of a practical cybersecurity talent pool requires the joint efforts of governments, enterprises, and universities. In recent years, 360 has actively explored new models of industry-education integration, establishing partnerships with over 600 universities. Through various methods such as jointly building industrial colleges and laboratories, conducting collaborative research projects, and providing internship opportunities, 360 and universities achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, jointly promoting the cultivation of cybersecurity talents.
Through long-term practice, 360 has developed a cyclical model of "cultivating" and "utilizing" talent. This model centers on talent cultivation, integrating with industrial operations to support urban security operations and help cities build digital security defense systems. Simultaneously, through integration with scientific research and innovation, it promotes regional innovation applications and technological breakthroughs, solving industrial technological challenges and achieving the integration of science and education and industry-education integration to jointly promote a city's digital and intelligent construction.
In the future, 360 Digital Security Group will continue to deepen its cultivation of practical cybersecurity talents, working closely with universities and actively exploring new models and paths for industry-education integration to cultivate more high-quality practical talents for the nation's cybersecurity cause and contribute to national digital security. 360 will continue its commitment to promoting cybersecurity talent cultivation, safeguarding the nation's cybersecurity. This will be a long-term strategic goal for 360's continued promotion of cybersecurity talent cultivation and a significant demonstration of its corporate social responsibility.
