At the press conference, Chang Jiang, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Henan Provincial Communications Management Bureau, introduced that the "2022 Henan Provincial Internet Development Report" is divided into 5 parts and 11 chapters, systematically summarizing the basic situation and main achievements of the development of the Internet industry in Henan Province in 2022.

In terms of basic internet resources, in 2022, the total bandwidth of Zhengzhou's national level internet backbone direct connection points will reach 1920G; The total number of 5G base stations in the province reached 153200, ranking fifth in the country, with a year-on-year increase of 57.8%; The total number of 10 Gigabit passive optical network (10G-PON) and above ports reached 850300, with a year-on-year growth of 97.7%. Nine cities including Zhengzhou were rated as gigabit cities by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In terms of internet users, in 2022, there were 90.832 million internet users in Henan Province, with an internet penetration rate of 91.6% and 89.155 million mobile internet users. The total number of internet users in the province has reached 133 million, ranking fourth in the country. Among them, there are 94.09 million mobile internet users, ranking third in the country; There are 39.348 million internet broadband access users, ranking fourth in the country.

In terms of the development of internet enterprises, in 2022, Henan Province added 1152 new internet enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%, reaching a total of 8986, ranking third in the country and holding 15922 value-added telecommunications business operation licenses.

In terms of internet applications, in 2022, Henan Province replicated and promoted 1470 5G application projects in 16 key industries such as equipment manufacturing, coal mining, steel, and cement. Among them, 21 projects won awards in the national finals of the fifth "Blooming Cup" 5G application competition. Online payment, instant messaging, and online shopping are widely used in the personal consumption field of netizens, with user penetration rates reaching 95.4%, 95%, and 92.3%, respectively. The entry rate of "one door" for government service matters of the "Yu Shi Ban" has reached 94%, and the level of integrated government service capability has entered the first level in the country.
