It is reported that in order to further promote the communication and exchange between traditional businesses and emerging industries, under the guidance of the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Wuhan Municipal Committee, and the Bureau of Commerce of Wuhan, Ele.me held the Huguang Shinise New Consumption Innovation Forum and Wuhan City Gift Promotion Conference in Han. This forum and promotion conference is one of the important theme activities of the "616 Three Good Festivals" in Hubei and the 2023 Wuhan International Consumption Season series.
On the forum, Ele.me New Service Research Center released a survey report on Shinise, saying that the average age of catering Shinise in Wuhan has exceeded 100, while the main consumer group of the digital platform is Generation Z, and the user group aged 18-35 accounts for more than 70%. From the perspective of the age structure of Shinise in Wuhan, the proportion of customers under 35 years old will account for 68% in 2022, up 4 percentage points from 2020; Among them, the proportion of 18-24 years old is 19%, an increase of 7 percentage points compared to 2020.
Up to now, there are 64 Shinise recognized in Wuhan, including 13 "China Time-honored Brand", 30 "Hubei Shinise" and 21 "Wuhan Shinise". In 2022, the total business volume of time-honored brands will be about 100 billion yuan.
Taking 11 catering enterprises among Shinise in Wuhan as the research object, the data of Ele.me New Service Research Center shows that the number of stores of Shinise in Wuhan catering industry in China has increased year by year, to 274 in 2022. Among them, the number of stores outside Wuhan has increased to 87, accounting for about one-third of the total.
In addition to the wide distribution in Hubei Province, Shinise enterprises in Wuhan have also expanded their business to Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Guangdong and other provinces and cities. At present, Cai Linji, the representative enterprise of Shinise in Wuhan, is expanding around Hubei with a steady pace, such as Xiangyang, Xianning and other surrounding third and fourth tier cities, and then expanding to the whole country, such as Shenzhen, Beijing and Zhengzhou.
Since this year, under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and other departments have launched a number of initiatives to help Shinise innovate and develop. Su Longlin, the manager of Ele.me Wuhan City, introduced that in February this year, "Jiangcheng Shinise launched a new plan" to jointly launch new products, provide new services, innovate new consumer brands, and provide new interactive marketing. He has successively launched a series of popular and popular products and services with Shinise such as Dehualou, Wang Yuxia, Cai Linji, etc.
This time, the Shinise innovation think tank in Wuhan is the first local Shinise innovation think tank that Ele.me cooperates with local media. It is intended to help Shinise innovate and develop through the platform's innovation and digital capabilities, and will be spread in more cities in the future.
