Reduced coverage of mainstream players
Recently, we randomly tested a WeChat low-priced shipping mini program and found that SF Express was no longer among the options for express delivery. At the same time, we also tested several other WeChat low-priced shipping mini programs one after another, and there was no sign of SF Express.
After subsequent observations, especially during and after the Dragon Boat Festival, we found that in addition to SF Express, Tongda, Jitu, JD.com, and others have also reduced their coverage in low-priced shipping mini programs to varying degrees. This is a very significant change, in stark contrast to before.
In March this year, for the first time, we learned about the small program of low price delivery in a wide range - online express scalper vest, such as WeChat, Tiktok, etc. Most of the low price delivery platforms include all mainstream express enterprises; Now this trend is being changed vaguely. For example, a small program that we randomly tested (Test 1 below) during the Dragon Boat Festival is not included in Shunfeng, and Zhongtong, Shentong, Jitu, etc. are not among the optional express.

The "Detour Tactics" of the Delivery Guy

Under this tactic, many consumers will automatically cancel their orders.
For example, in March of this year, most courier guys told us, "When we receive this kind of package, if we can't, we just go to the door and pick it up from the company, and we don't care about anything else. Even if we don't receive a commission for free, due to factors such as fines, if the company allows us to pick it up, we have to pick it up.
Nowadays, the attitude of the delivery guy has changed. After we placed the order, the system's response speed remained the same as before. Once we placed the order, it was assigned to a pick-up courier and prompted the ordering consumer to contact the courier themselves to determine the pick-up time. However, this time, we contacted the courier but they were delayed in picking up the package. Finally, we urged the courier to come quickly. But unlike before, the crisp ones will be taken away.
As for the 1 yuan inverted sticker, why is it inverted? Xue Zhongchen did not respond. However, Xue Zhongchen stated that he has been working in the industry for 6 years and has contracted a small branch, which he is unwilling to take.
Every time consumers place an order on a mini program platform, these platforms can earn a certain commission in the middle. Just playing 'edge ball'?
Like offline delivery scalpers, these online delivery scalpers also do not have a courier business license. However, even so, online delivery scalpers are still shuttling through the express delivery market, playing the "edge ball".
Zhao Jingzhi, who has served as a legal representative in the express delivery industry for many years, believes that there are certain problems with the existence of low-cost express delivery mini program platforms. Firstly, it is similar to offline scalpers, and there is no license for offline scalpers to operate express delivery; These platforms are delivery service platforms and face licensing issues.
In fact, these low-priced express delivery mini programs violate the relevant regulations of the Postal Law, the Provisional Regulations on Express Delivery, and the Measures for the Administration of Express Business Licenses. But to some extent, there is also a situation of inserting the edge ball. On the one hand, these low-priced shipping platforms may feel that the company does not provide collection services. "I am just a platform service that provides express collection services, and the real collection is the express delivery company's branches and couriers. On the other hand, they also have logical self consistency, feeling that their delivery platform is no different from e-commerce platforms such as Taobao and JD.com. They will raise this opinion.
However, from a legal perspective, e-commerce platforms such as Taobao and JD.com provide transactions of goods, and the platforms clarify who will collect them. "Zhao Jingzhi said that these low-priced mini program delivery platforms themselves provide delivery services. From this perspective, Pingtai should have a courier business license in order to engage in business activities.
Take Renren Express as an example. As early as around 2012, after the establishment of Renren Express, it began to consult with relevant departments and apply for a courier business license, but the relevant departments did not approve the issuance. Zhao Jingzhi believes that the core reason for not applying for approval is that express delivery companies need to have a series of license conditions such as receiving and dispatching, sorting, and distribution in order to have the opportunity to apply for a express delivery business license; But Renren Express is different. It is a company that engages in crowdsourcing delivery business.
Afterwards, Renren Express began to engage in the receiving, transferring, and delivery business of the express delivery industry, but due to not obtaining a express delivery operation license, it was considered illegal and ultimately suspended.
