On June 21st, Andrew Wilson, the CEO of EA, announced that in order to adjust its strategy, EA will restructure and split into two companies - EA Entertainment and EA Sports.It is reported that Laura Miele, the former Chief Operating Officer of EA, will take over as the President of Technology and Central Development of EA Entertainment

After the split, the CEO of EA will still be held by Andrew Wilson, who stated that this restructuring aims to "give our studio leaders more creative ownership and financial responsibility, so that they can make faster and more insightful decisions in development and launch strategies.
